Aileen Gould has Crohn's Disease and has had a Colostomy since 1991. In 1996 she went back to school to obtain her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Her aim was to counsel individuals with chronic illnesses, particularly those with ostomies, as she felt who better could help them than someone else who had gone through the same experience.
